24 Memes Not Doing Much

Why is it that we always answer the question, "What's up?" with "Not much, how about you?" I guess it's just the easiest way to respond to that question if we're not doing an activity that immediately requires explaining. It's also generally true. Barring some outside events in your life, odds are you do similar things every day. You go to work, you come home, you eat your meals, you hang out with your pet, and you go to bars with your friends. There's nothing wrong with that, there's just nothing to report. And sometimes that's a good thing. 

Sure, you wish you could report some really exceptionally good stuff happening in your life, like a new project, a new relationship, or an upcoming trip. But you also are glad that you don't have anything negative to report. Because that stuff usually is not fun to live and certainly no fun to relay to others. So you're happy to be not doing much.
